The onboarding flow captures the essentials so JettWorth can calculate your net worth and generate your first projection from day one.
What you will be asked
Onboarding takes about two minutes and covers four areas.
1. Personal details
- Your first name (used to greet you on the dashboard)
- Your date of birth (used to show projections by age on the chart)
- Your state or territory (used for stamp duty calculations and Medicare levy)
2. Income
- Your annual salary or primary income, entered as gross (before tax).
- JettWorth shows a confirmation breakdown — estimated income tax, Medicare, HECS repayment, employer super, and take-home pay — so you can sanity-check the number.
This income is automatically saved as your first income stream so the Income page won't be empty when onboarding finishes.
3. Assets and liabilities
- Add your major assets: bank accounts, shares/ETFs, super balance, property, vehicles
- Add your liabilities: mortgage, car loan, HECS debt, credit cards, personal loans
- Skip items now and add them later if you don't have the numbers handy.
4. Monthly expenses
- Enter your estimated monthly spending.
- Break it down by category (housing, food, transport, etc.) or enter a single total.
Can I change these later?
Yes. Everything you enter during onboarding can be edited afterwards from the relevant section in the sidebar. Onboarding just gives JettWorth enough data to get started.
Tip: Don't stress about getting exact numbers. Rough estimates are fine — you can refine them over time as you take monthly snapshots.
