Conclude was built for teams that already work in Linear. The integration is two-way and is the single most valuable connection most teams set up.
What you get
- Link any feedback item to a Linear issue. From the feedback detail view.
- Auto-create Linear issues from feedback (Pro+). One click, pre-filled with title, description, customer context, and a back-link to Conclude.
- Two-way status sync (Pro+). When the linked Linear issue moves to Done, the Conclude feedback moves to Done. When you mark feedback as Cancelled, the linked Linear issue updates if your Linear workflow has a corresponding state.
- Roadmap mapping. Roadmap cards can be tied to Linear issues or projects, so the public roadmap reflects engineering reality.
- Issue from theme or insight (Pro+). Bundle multiple feedback items into a single Linear issue.
Connecting Linear
- Go to Integrations in the workspace nav.
- Click Connect on the Linear card.
- You're redirected to Linear's OAuth consent screen — pick the workspace you want to connect.
- Approve the requested scopes.
- You're returned to Conclude with the connection live.
Picking which Linear teams
After connecting, choose which Linear teams you want surfaced in Conclude. When auto-creating issues, you'll pick from these teams.
You can connect more teams or remove teams later from the integration settings.
Linking feedback to a Linear issue
From any feedback item's detail view:
- Click Link Linear issue on the right side.
- Search by ID (
ENG-123), title, or paste a Linear URL. - Select the issue.
The feedback now shows the Linear issue badge. Status changes flow per the sync setting below.
Auto-creating a Linear issue (Pro+)
From a feedback item, theme, or insight:
- Click Create Linear issue.
- Pick the team.
- Optionally edit the title, description, and labels.
- Click Create.
The issue is created in Linear. The Conclude item is linked to it automatically. The issue body includes:
- A summary of the feedback (or theme / insight).
- The submitter and company, if identified.
- A back-link to the Conclude feedback / theme / insight.
Sync direction
| Plan | Direction |
|---|---|
| Starter | One-way (Conclude → Linear linking only; status changes don't sync) |
| Pro | Bi-directional |
| Team | Bi-directional |
On Pro and Team, when:
- The Linear issue moves to Done → Conclude feedback moves to Done.
- The Linear issue moves to In Progress → Conclude feedback moves to In Progress.
- The Linear issue is closed as not-doing → Conclude feedback moves to Cancelled.
The mapping respects your Linear workflow's named states. Conclude detects the type of each Linear state (backlog, started, completed, cancelled) rather than requiring exact string matches.
Roadmap and Linear
Roadmap cards can be tied to Linear issues (Pro+) or to Linear projects (Pro+). When the linked Linear issue or project changes status, the roadmap card moves with it on both the internal kanban and the public roadmap.
Disconnecting Linear
From Integrations, click Disconnect on the Linear card. Existing links remain in Conclude (so you don't lose history) but no new sync events fire. You can reconnect later.
Permissions
Conclude requests the minimum scopes needed: read issues, write issues, read teams, read projects (for project-mapped roadmaps). It does not request access to comments or attachments.
Troubleshooting
Linked issue doesn't sync status.
- Confirm you're on Pro or Team — sync requires it.
- Confirm the Linear team is in the connected list.
- Verify the OAuth connection is still active (re-connect if not).
Auto-create fails.
- Check the Linear team has the labels/states the integration is trying to write.
- Look in Settings → Webhooks log for the error message.
